NSB was founded in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, in 1993. Since that time, we have been delivering outstanding technical staffing and consulting services to clients locally, nationally, and internationally.

Our employees have been instrumental in delivering major projects such as Hibernia, Terra Nova, White Rose, Sable, Hebron, and multiple projects in Western Canada.

NSB Omega proudly maintains its headquarters in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, but operates on a global basis. In 2015, NSB entered into a partnership agreement with Norwegian company Omega, which has expanded both companies' access to global markets. NSB Omega continues to expand its footprint and is actively seeking business opportunities in multiple jurisdictions. 

Mike has 25+ years' experience in the natural resources sector, and has spent 20 of those years in personnel resourcing. Mike has managed global framework agreements for international clients, and has overseen the expansion of NSB Omega into the largest locally-owned technical personnel agency in the province. 

Mike is a well-known and trusted industry spokesperson and former Chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Oil and Gas Industries Association.

Phil has 10 years' experience in recruitment and a strong foundation of knowledge in all phases of the oil and gas industry. Phillip has provided key senior project teams to multiple mega projects and takes lead on the bidding and negotiation of major recruitment contracts.

Phil has an MBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and a background in supply chain, human resources, business development and contracts.

Jodie joined NSB-Omega in January 2019 after completing her Business Commerce Degree at Memorial University with a focus in Human Resources. Since then, she has proven to be an integral member of the team, gaining valuable experience recruiting top talent and interacting with Clients, employees, and applicants every day. Jodie’s strengths are her optimism, openness and honesty and she is excellent at building meaningful relationships with candidates. She believes in the power of people and hard work.

Kenneth is the Operations Manager of NSB Omega’s office in Calgary, AB. He has over 10 years' experience in the energy sector working with Capital Projects around the world. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in project development & execution.
